I have a small room (11' wide x 15' long). My setup consists of 3 in room Gold LCR's, 4 overhead in ceiling for Atmos and 2 in wall Silver Surrounds. With the narrow width of the room I have no place for sides, just the Silver rears.
I can buy a pair of new on wall Gold Surrounds for $800, I'm very tempted because of the price.
Would it be overkill to replace the rear Silvers with these Golds?

I think that would be a great buy! In the end, you really want your fronts, sides, rears and height speakers to match as closely as possible. This gives your room a cohesive sound.

    It's not overkill.
